TV fans can secure a rare deal this week as an Apple TV+ subscription drops to £2.99 per month for three months – but they’ll have to be quick. The tech giant launched the surprise sale earlier this month, which effectively offers three months’ access for the price of one.
However, time is running out to get the deal before it ends on Thursday, April 24. With it, subscribers can stream popular shows like Severance, The Studio, Slow Horses, Ted Lasso and many more, saving 66% compared to the usual £8.99 rate.
This makes Apple TV+ the most budget-friendly choice among the major streaming platforms, compared to the lowest subscription tiers of Disney+ (£4.99), Netflix (£5.99) and Prime Video (£5.99). After the three-month promotional period, the subscription will automatically renew at the standard £8.99, but members are free to cancel at this point.

The deal is also available for those on a Sky TV plan, including the £15 Essential TV bundle. This comes with more than 100 channels, including Sky Atlantic – the UK home of The Last of Us – and free subscriptions to Netflix and Discovery+.
Apple TV+ has earned a reputation for its high calibre content and some of the biggest names in Hollywood have worked with the brand in recent years, both in front of and behind the camera. Among them are Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Tom Hanks, Gary Oldman, Austin Butler, Jennifer Aniston, Barry Keoghan, Rebecca Ferguson, Ben Stiller and Kurt Russell.
Apple TV+ has dropped to £2.99 per month, effectively giving members three months’ access for the price of one, until April 24.
This includes bingeable shows including Severance, The Studio, Ted Lasso and Slow Horses.
The streamer has had a stellar start to 2025, with the second season of Severance smashing viewership records. The genre-mashing dystopian sci-fi workplace comedy thriller, produced by Stiller and starring Adam Scott, surpassed Ted Lasso to become the platform’s most-watched series ever.
Seth Rogen’s Hollywood satire, The Studio – featuring Rogen as the new head of a movie studio – premiered in March and has earned an impressive 95% Rotten Tomatoes score. Currently topping Apple’s TV chart is Your Friends and Neighbors, a comedic crime-drama with Jon Hamm playing a hedge fund manager who resorts to burglary after losing his job.
Apple also has plenty in store for viewers, having announced that Ted Lasso will be back for a fourth season, with Jason Sudeikis reprising his role. The streaming platform has also released its summer 2025 preview, which includes returning favourites such as Slow Horses and The Morning Show.
However, despite recent releases like The Gorge and Blitz, some may feel that Apple TV+ doesn’t offer as wide a range of films as its competitors. While its TV library can compete with Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video, those seeking the latest Hollywood hits or timeless classics might be left wanting.
But for top-tier TV shows, an Apple TV+ subscription is now available at £2.99 per month for three months until April 24.
