Cain Dingle is perplexed by Nate’s radio silence next week in Emmerdale, but while one killer could be exposed, another in EastEnders is forced to come clean.

Caleb and Ruby (Will Ash and Beth Cordingly) are heartened to see Steph (Georgia Jay) looking more positive, unaware she’s had an appointment with her surgeon. They’re shocked when she tells them about her holiday plans.
Caleb then tries to trace her flight number but he’s worried when he learns it’s fake. Caleb and Ruby are later horrified to find emails from the plastic surgery clinic on Steph’s computer. Meanwhile, the surgeon makes the final preparations for Steph’s surgery.
Tracy gives Cain a card she wrote with Frankie for Nate’s birthday. Winded, Cain leaves a voicemail for Nate. Meanwhile, John panics when Nate’s phone rings with a call from Cain and he accidentally answers it.
When John sees Cain leaving a voicemail for Nate, he knows he has another fire to put out. Later, seeing how Nate has abandoned his wife and child, Cain tells Tracy he’s going to Shetland to get through to him.
Sarah (Katie Hill) reveals to Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) that she doesn’t want a boyfriend – she wants a baby. Despite Vanessa trying to dissuade her, Sarah explains her plans to have IVF.
Chas and Liam (Lucy Pargeter and Jonny McPherson) are disheartened when PC Swirling provides an alibi for Ella and their concerns grow as they’re no closer to finding out who attacked Liam.
Carl (Jonathan Howard) calls at No.13 and Abi (Sally Carman) senses that something is bothering him. He makes out that he’s worried about Kevin’s cancer and wishes they’d spent more time together.
Abi assures Carl that he’s a decent person and despite their rocky start, she’s happy he’s here. But what will she do when he pulls her in for a kiss?
Daisy is suspicious when Christina (Amy Robbins) refuses to get rid of her burner phone. But she’s distracted when Jenny reveals she’s inherited some money from shares Daisy’s dad bought in her name. And she plans to invest in Dom’s company.
Jenny then reveals she’s transferred the money but Daisy is shocked to hear Christina talking to Dom. Later, Daisy says her goodbyes as she puts the final touches to her escape plan.
Betsy (Sydney Martin) refuses to go back to college and Carla (Alison King) is sure she’s secretly playing Lisa. Later, Carla looks after Betsy and makes her some lunch – but she’s surprised to see Betsy pick up the pepper mill with both hands. Eileen and George’s romance is also under threat as Julie issues him with a warning.
Teddy confronts Nicola about Shireen’s death. When he insists that Harry deserves to know the truth, he reluctantly agrees to stay quiet – but Barney susses out that something is wrong.
Teddy then tells Nicola he’s hatched a plan, pausing work at the construction site while he and Nicola make a deal with Benji. After the negotiations, Nicola decides to sell Harry’s Barn to pay Benji but Teddy finds another solution.
A bombshell quickly derails everything, forcing the couple to navigate a tricky situation. Things then unravel when Nicola is ambushed by an intruder at Harry’s Barn.
Ravi (Aaron Gulati) is unimpressed when Avani (Aaliyah James) spends time with Joel. Priya (Sophie Khan Levy) then gets a call informing her the police will not be taking Avani’s complaint forward.
Priya keeps the news a secret from Avani, worried about the impact it could have on her. Amy (Ellie Dadd) is also asked to keep schtum but as she mends her friendship with Avani, the truth spills out. Priya heads to the police station to make another complaint but Callum (Tony Clay) steps in when she loses her temper.
Elsewhere, love is in the air as Gina (Francesca Henry) agrees to a date with Harry (Elijah Holloway) while Johnny (Charlie Suff) tells grandmother Elaine (Harriet Thorpe) he wants a serious relationship with Felix.
Leela insists she and Joel should confront Tommy and force him to back off. Surprisingly, Tommy agrees to leave them alone – but will he keep his word?
While preparing for John Paul and Jez’s engagement party, the Blakes and McQueens clash, their differing tastes igniting tension. Sienna is on edge, determined to avoid another spiking.
Jez confides in Martha, worried Sienna will discover the truth about her drugging. Martha devises a plan to make Cleo take the fall. Donny confronts Rex who warns him about DI Banks, but Grace quickly intervenes.
Wendy contemplates whether teaching is really meant for her and gets an opportunity at Erinsborough High, with the possibility of a permanent position. Later, Wendy and Andrew clash when he has some reservations.
Hours after her own interview for the police force, Cara is furious with Remi, believing she sabotaged her chances at being accepted. As Sadie struggles to cope with her scars, Taye is having money woes and a chat with Byron gives him a cash-making idea. Meanwhile, Susan attempts to get Amanda to come clean to Jane – but Amanda’s more interested in Darcy.
Abigail’s clingyness is hard to handle for Mali. He interprets her attraction as mistrust but she denies it. However, during a chat with Eden, Abigail admits she has trust issues.
Irene’s return to The Bay is nothing short of rocky. But when Dana offers her company, Irene explains life is difficult without the routine rehab provided. Later, Dana tries to find out why Irene is so guarded with John.
