The action-horror film “Sinners” was a standout with seven nominations, including best cinematic achievement and motion picture, as well as recognition for Michael B. Jordan’s portrayal of twin brothers. These nominations follow the films’ success at other awards shows and festivals this year.

The upcoming Golden Globes will introduce a new award category for podcasts, recognizing diverse talents in the medium. The awards ceremony, hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser, will take place on January 11, marking the 83rd edition of the prestigious event.
