“Zwilling Electric Kettles Recalled Over Burn Hazard”

Must read

Health Canada has issued a recall for a selection of Zwilling electric kettles due to potential burn hazards. The affected models are the Zwilling Efinigy Kettle and Efinigy Kettle Pro, both with a 1.5 L capacity. Approximately 43,963 units were sold in Canada from February 2020 to February 2026.

The safety concern revolves around the kettle’s handle, which may become loose or detach while in operation. This defect could lead to hot water spilling out, posing scalding risks to users and those nearby, including children. Health Canada’s website highlighted the danger of injuries from this issue.

As of May 13, 2026, the company has received 21 incident reports and one potential injury linked to these kettles in Canada. Health Canada advises consumers to cease using the affected kettles immediately and seek a refund by registering on the dedicated recall website.

For further assistance, consumers can reach out to Zwilling directly. Health Canada also encourages individuals encountering safety problems with the product to report such incidents through the appropriate channels.
