“AI Takes Center Stage at CES 2026 Tech Showcase”

Companies of various sizes are showcasing their latest products at CES 2026, the world’s largest consumer technology trade show currently happening in Las Vegas. Artificial intelligence is a prominent feature in many innovations, with tech companies aiming to attract customers with AI-driven products such as LG’s new laundry folding robot, Uber’s robotaxi, and Lego’s smart bricks.

At the event, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang introduced Cosmos, an AI foundation model capable of simulating environments based on real physics, along with Alpamayo, an AI model specifically tailored for autonomous vehicles. Huang also unveiled Vera Rubin, the company’s next-generation AI superchip platform now in full production.

Boston Dynamics, owned by Hyundai, publicly showcased its humanoid robot Atlas for the first time at CES. The company announced that a version of Atlas designed to assist in car assembly is already in production and will be deployed by 2028 at its EV manufacturing facility near Savannah, Georgia.

Samsung demonstrated its AI beauty mirror designed for applying sunscreen and makeup, while Lego’s chief product and marketing officer, Julia Goldin, announced a new Star Wars partnership during a news conference at the event. Lego also presented smart bricks equipped with light and distance sensors that offer various responses through lights and sounds when used together.

Uber unveiled its robotaxi, developed in collaboration with luxury electric vehicle manufacturer Lucid Motors and vehicle tech company Nuro, featuring an Uber-designed in-cabin experience. LG introduced its CLOiD Home Robot designed to assist with household chores, showcasing its capabilities by loading laundry into a washing machine.

Various other innovations were on display at the trade show, including the Mirumi furry companion robot, the dancing Agibot X2 humanoid robot, and more.
