Authorities are treating the fire as suspicious and conducting an investigation. The incident was reported to the Summerside police around 11:38 p.m. on Belmont Street.

Upon arrival, emergency responders found a two-story house fully engulfed in flames. Fortunately, the sole occupant of the residence managed to escape unharmed. Nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution, and some vehicles parked in the vicinity were also damaged.

According to official statements, two residences were completely ruined, while the third sustained severe damage. Authorities are urging anyone with information related to the incident to contact the police at 902-432-1201.
