Coached by Ed Eyestone, a former Olympic marathoner, Linkletter made his marathon debut in Toronto after graduating from BYU.

Over the years, Linkletter honed his skills, clocking impressive times like 2:08:01 to secure a spot in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Now, aiming for the Canadian and North American record of 2:05:36 set by Levins, Linkletter will compete in the Chicago Marathon.

Linkletter expressed his ambition to be recognized as one of Canada’s top runners. His dedication to the sport has been evident in his recent achievements, including defeating Levins in the Canadian half marathon championships. Levins, impressed by Linkletter’s progress, acknowledged the competitive spirit between them.

As Linkletter gears up for the Chicago Marathon, he reflects on his Olympic debut in Paris as a learning experience.
