In the best new play category, nominees include “Giant,” “Liberation,” “The Balusters,” and “Little Bear Ridge Road.” Daniel Radcliffe secured a nomination for “Every Brilliant Thing,” a one-person show tackling depression.
The best play revival category features well-received works like “Every Brilliant Thing,” “Death of a Salesman,” “Oedipus,” “Becky Shaw,” and “Fallen Angels.” John Lithgow and Rose Byrne are among the leading actors nominated for their outstanding performances.
The Tony Awards ceremony is set for June 7 at Radio City Music Hall, with Pink hosting the event. The awards show will be broadcast live on CBS and streamed on Paramount+. Last year’s broadcast, hosted by Cynthia Erivo, attracted 4.85 million viewers, marking the largest audience in six years, as per Nielsen data.
