A synagogue located on Adelaide Street North in London experienced a break-in where a brick was thrown through a window, as reported by the police. The incident occurred either late on October 6 or early on October 7. During the break-in, alcohol and money from a charity box were stolen. Although there is currently no evidence suggesting a hate-motivated crime, the case has been transferred to the street crime unit for investigation and is also under review by the hate crime unit, according to a police spokesperson.
The Beth Tefilah Synagogue in London, Ontario, had one of its windows shattered on October 7, 2025. The London police’s Street Crime Unit is actively looking into the matter, with additional scrutiny from the Hate Crime Unit.
