The latest additions to the PWHL now have their official team jerseys revealed. Both PWHL Vancouver and Seattle unveiled their inaugural jerseys, showcasing the city names prominently stitched across the chest on both home and away uniforms. Unique names and logos specific to each team will be incorporated into the 2026-27 jerseys before the season kicks off.

Vancouver’s jersey design draws inspiration from the city’s natural surroundings, featuring a color palette of pacific blue and cream with earthy bronze accents. Excitement abounds as PWHL Vancouver forward Sarah Nurse expressed her anticipation to wear the jersey in the upcoming games, highlighting the strong fan base in Vancouver.

Meanwhile, Seattle’s jerseys sport deep slate green and cream colors with a river blue accent, paying homage to the league’s inaugural season with a classic design. PWHL Seattle General Manager Meghan Turner emphasized the pride in representing the city in their first season, reflecting the roots established in Seattle.

The PWHL season is set to commence on November 21, with the highly anticipated match between Seattle and Vancouver marking the opening night. These expansion teams were carefully crafted through an expansion draft process, resulting in the formation of competitive rosters.

Vancouver boasts a formidable blue line led by players from the Walter Cup-winning Minnesota Frost, while Seattle showcases a mix of size and skill, potentially fielding a top line featuring star players like Hilary Knight and Alex Carpenter. Both teams have secured notable signings and are gearing up for an exciting season ahead.

PWHL Vancouver will call Pacific Coliseum its home rink, hosting the season opener against Seattle, while Seattle will play at Climate Pledge Arena, shared with NHL’s Seattle Kraken and WNBA’s Seattle Storm. Seattle’s first home game will see them facing off against the Minnesota Frost on November 28.
