“Sabrina Carpenter Granted Restraining Order Against Stalker”

Must read

Pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter has been granted a temporary restraining order against an individual she claims attempted to enter her Los Angeles residence without permission, causing her considerable distress. Legal documents reveal Carpenter’s intent to pursue a permanent restraining order against a 31-year-old man named William Applegate.

According to Carpenter’s sworn statement, on May 23, Applegate illegally accessed a neighboring property to access the security fencing around Carpenter’s home. Subsequently, he tried to forcibly enter her residence by grabbing the door handle, a deliberate and alarming action that deeply unsettled Carpenter. The singer described the incident as a severe violation of her safety and privacy, emphasizing the fear it instilled in her.

Following intervention from her security team, Applegate allegedly refused to leave and falsely claimed familiarity with Carpenter in an attempt to justify his actions. Subsequently, he was arrested but returned to her property less than 24 hours later, prompting further police intervention. Carpenter detailed a distressing pattern of stalking and trespassing by Applegate, causing ongoing emotional turmoil.

Security investigations revealed that Applegate’s concerning behavior had been ongoing since at least April 20, 2026, with a troubling escalation noted over the following month. Detective Peter Doomanis of the Los Angeles Police Department attested to Applegate’s irrational fixation on Carpenter in a formal declaration.

As a result of these events, a judge has mandated that Applegate stay a minimum of 100 yards away from Carpenter, her residence, vehicle, workplace, and her relatives living with her. A court hearing is scheduled for June 17, with Applegate facing criminal trespassing charges in a separate court appearance on June 18.
