The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department announced on Monday that they are looking into a fresh sexual battery accusation against rap icon Sean (Diddy) Combs, who is currently serving a four-year sentence for offenses related to prostitution.
According to a police report cited by NBC News, a male music producer and publicist claimed that during a 2020 photo shoot at a Los Angeles warehouse, Combs exposed himself while masturbating and instructed the accuser to participate. The producer alleged that Combs then threw a soiled shirt at him. The accuser, whose identity was withheld in the report, stated that he remained silent for years out of embarrassment before finally reporting the incident to authorities in Largo, Fla., in September, following Combs’ previous convictions.
When contacted for comment on the recent allegations, Combs’s attorney did not provide an immediate response to The Associated Press. The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that they had received an official report from the Florida authorities on Friday and would be initiating an investigation into the claims.
Additionally, the report outlined an episode from March 2021 in which the accuser alleged that he was blindfolded by two individuals before Combs entered the room and accused him of being a snitch, as per NBC.
Combs was convicted in July for transporting his partners and male sex workers across the country for drug-fueled sexual activities at various locations over an extended period. Although acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges that carried potential life imprisonment, he is scheduled for release in May 2028, with the opportunity to reduce his sentence through participation in rehabilitation and prison programs.
