RCMP officials in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut, have reported a fatal incident involving an ATV collision near the local Northern store. The authorities were alerted to the situation on Thursday at approximately 4:08 p.m., as stated in a news release issued on Friday. Upon arrival, Rankin Inlet Emergency Medical Services (EMS) administered life-saving measures to a 60-year-old male involved in the accident. Despite efforts, the individual succumbed to his injuries after being taken to the nearby hospital.
The Rankin Inlet RCMP and the Nunavut coroner’s office are currently conducting an investigation into the incident. The RCMP expressed their sympathies to the family and acquaintances of the deceased individual, as highlighted in the news release.
