“Stay at ‘The Cottage’ from ‘Heated Rivalry’ on Airbnb”

Must read

The famous line from the TV show Heated Rivalry, “I’m coming to the cottage,” will soon be more than just a line for fans as the lakefront home featured in the season finale of Crave’s popular hockey romance series, The Cottage, will be available for bookings on Airbnb. The cottage, known as Barlochan cottage, located in Ontario’s Muskoka Lakes, has garnered significant attention from fans since its appearance in the show.

The protagonists of the series, Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov, spend a transformative summer at the cottage, where their private retreat evolves into a pivotal moment in their relationship as they share their fears, family stories, and dreams of a future together. With its stunning floor-to-ceiling windows and picturesque views of the lake, the cottage has been described as a place of intense emotions, honest conversations, and unforgettable experiences.

Starting from March 3 at noon ET, guests can reserve weekend stays at the cottage until May for $248.10 Cdn per night, a tribute to the characters’ jersey numbers: 24 and 81. Bookings for the summer season from June 1 onwards will be available at a later date with pricing details to be announced then.

While the owner of the property remains anonymous, Airbnb collaborated closely with them to make the listing possible. In celebration of the Barlochan cottage’s debut on Airbnb, the company will be making a contribution to the Children’s Foundation of Muskoka, a charity that supports underprivileged children in the region. The specific donation amount has not been disclosed by the company.
