A fresh rendition of the classic song “Bohemian Rhapsody” has caught the attention of many, with fans amazed by Queen’s iconic anthem being sung in Minionese, a playful language associated with the popular animated characters.
TikTok creator Ella Mott stole the show at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre during the premiere of “Minions & Monsters” by delivering a Minionese version of the 1975 hit. The audience was both puzzled and entertained by the unique performance, which has since gained viral traction on social media platforms.
Minionese, also known as the “Banana Language,” is a whimsical language filled with gibberish that incorporates elements from various real-world languages like English. Mott’s flawless execution of the Minionese rendition of “Bohemian Rhapsody” has earned her praise from fans, with some even humorously suggesting that Freddie Mercury would have approved.
Mott’s proficiency in Minionese is evident from her TikTok videos, showcasing her comedic talent in mimicking Minion influencers. This isn’t the first time her Minionese rendition of “Bohemian Rhapsody” has gone viral, as a previous TikTok video amassed millions of likes and views.
The Minionese singing contest at the premiere of “Minions & Monsters” featured Mott and other participants showcasing their talents. The event, which crowned a winner who performed “I’ll Be There” by the Jackson 5, awarded the victor with a Golden Banana.
“Minions & Monsters,” the seventh installment in the “Despicable Me” franchise, is set to hit theaters on July 1, promising fans another delightful adventure with their beloved Minion characters.
