According to a spokesperson speaking to Variety, the singer started feeling extremely ill during Tuesday’s show. An understudy stepped in to continue the performance. Doctors determined that her symptoms were due to severe fatigue, dehydration, vasoconstriction, and low metabolic levels. After being discharged, she was advised to rest.
In an Instagram post, the Grammy-winning artist announced that she would be taking a break from Wednesday’s performances to recuperate. She assured fans that she would return to the stage on Thursday, fully recovered and prepared to give her best performance.
Acknowledging the incident as a wake-up call, Megan Thee Stallion admitted to pushing herself beyond her limits and running on empty. She expressed fear of fainting on stage and emphasized the importance of listening to her body’s signals.
