“Man in Critical Condition After Centretown Shooting”

A man is in critical condition following the discovery of a gunshot wound in Centretown during the early hours of Wednesday, as confirmed by the Ottawa Paramedic Service. The incident prompted a call to paramedics at 1:34 a.m. regarding a building located in the 500 block of Somerset Street W., where the injured man was located. Throughout Wednesday morning, police activity was observed at 568 Somerset St. W., with the front of the building cordoned off. Paramedics provided immediate care to the wounded individual on-site before transferring him to the hospital in critical condition.
